| What a sprightly fujobait show. I like the fish eye lens and dynamic camera movements even if I think it's trying too hard to look "CINEMATIC", they give the show more character and the anime had struggled to carve its own distinct identity as a battle shounen to me. It's just a shame that the superior aesthetic of the previous season had to be compromised with the new flatlined design. So hopefully the animation is indeed a noticeable upgrade from S1 as a result. The new aesthetic is perhaps why the cinematography feels on-the-nose as well; it's doing all these engaged camera angles on characters with little tone and perspective. | Fantastic, Already Loving it. The beautiful animation just made my night beautiful, I can see more vibrant and Crystal Clear scenes. The songs are good as well, although it doesn't set the old vibes but surely gives us a hint of something different, something refreshing, something stylish, something Gojoish. I was Really excited to see Gojo's past being adapted into an anime, although at first I thought they might adapt it in two Movie Format and I would've loved to see it in that way more. Excited to see more TOJI fight scenes, this guy won my heart ever since I've continued the manga after s1 and since then only I can tell how much I've waited. Anyway, a solid start with an 8/10.I know how much this season is gonna deliver. |

Shoko truly is the only one of the trio who understands Utahime's pain wwww The basketball scene was cute wwww Already kicking off to the hidden inventory arc, here's to high hopes and expectations woo!! |

| I recommend everyone who haven't watched the movie yet to watch it now. I'm not a manga reader, I just think it will be good to watch it now as both that and this arc are prequels. I feel like they will be related. *chainsaw man flashbacks* I really like this OP! Very positive and upbeat. Gojo and Geto are so goofy I love it Will Gojo be without a blindfold this whole arc? If yes then hell yeah, we'll get see much more of his beautiful eyes. The ED with a nostalgic feel was really nice too I loved this premiere! I wonder if this season will be 1 or 2 cours. Edit: oh damn it's already confirmed to have 2 cours. Nice! |

| Fuck yes we are BACK baby!! Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is finally here! I'm already impressed by what we've seen in just this first episode and it'll only get better going forward. The events this season will cover is like a long crescendo, it'll just keep going up and up and up. Right off the bat, we dive into a flashback to Gojo's past. He's still as cocky then as he is now lol, and I love seeing the younger days of all the adult characters we've come to know. The animation is noticeably different from season 1 but it's still impressive, as expected from one of MAPPA's biggest projects. I can't wait to see how it holds up during the action scenes, which it looks like we'll get into next episode. OP is groovy, might need a few more listens to see if it really grows on me. And also, the MAN HIMSELF, the GOAT, the literal epitome of big dick black air force energy, Toji fucking Fushiguro, has appeared. Dude is probably one of the coldest and most raw characters I've seen in anime/manga. Can't wait to see him in action soon. JJK IS BACK!! |

| For the most that I'm glad and happy that JJK is back. So is back the part I hated about Chainsaw Man, which looks like infected JJK production, these weird dumb angles and cuts. So Digimon is a thing in JJK Universe. |

| Shouta Goshozono has blessed our screens once again! If you didn't know, he was the director for Episode 8 of Chainsaw Man, and Episodes 7 and 21 of Ousama Ranking, the latter being very similar to some of the cinematic style used in this premiere episode. We're starting out with the Hidden Inventory/Premature death arc for the first five episodes, and it seems to be a backstory for Gojo, which is quite a welcome thing. A lot of great visual spectacles this episode, but not too much to comment in terms of what actually happened. Utahime and Mei Mei seem like interesting characters, and Gojo, well, he's the guy we know and love. As for the OP and ED, they were okay, but obviously not as much of a classic as the ones from Season 1. Looking forward to more! As for the leakers, shame on you for such disrespect. |
| Checking such a large area by yourself must be a spooky exp even without the loops. Its fun seeing how the cast looked back when they were still early in their careers. So to maintain his sense of self Tengen has to find a new vessel huh. Nice digimon ref though. I see Q is continuing the trend of wearing military uniforms when out on ops. Looks like things are only gonna get bigger and flashier in this arc. But overall an excellent opening ep that featured a nice look into how the cast were back in their younger days. Good blend of OP and ending themes as well. |

| So we getting to the back story of the high school days of Gojo-Sensei? That’s good. And it looks fun. Excited to see how things turned out the way it is now to present time of Jujutsu Kaisen. Geto and Gojo looked like good friends. And it seems like Geto had such a nice compass of good morale, and Gojo on the other hand had the opposite of Geto. Looking forward to see what happens. Anyways. Fun episode! X3 |

| It's great to have JJK back with us for another 6 monhts. This will be THE best season of Jujutsu Kaisen. A quite cinematic introduction with Geto, he'll be important this arc and the following. Aftewards, it's Mei Mei and Utahime who took the spotlight. I completely forgot about this part, but near the end, I remembered it when I read it in the manga. It was pretty funny lol, espically when Gojo and Geto arrived. Mei Mei's design is so fucking good in the early days. Same goes for Utahime, who has quite the personality when she was younger. Gojo is still a cocky bastard with a goat personality and Geto is just Geto. The simple artstyle is so fucking good and it'll look even better during the action scenes because of its fluidity. The opening and ending are great, I like the ED a bit more though. Well well, their mission is to protect a star vessel which will bring us some great ass moments. |

| I know everyone's going to comment about the new art direction but I personally am in love with the opening/ending. I prefer them to the S1 OP/EDs. The sound design in this first episode was great too. |
